Duties, Responsibilities, and Accountability:


On-site, off-site and online/remote customer demonstrations
Ensure integrity of the demo experience and provides feedback and input re: areas for improvement
Assist the XPression Product team with content creation, organization and technical execution of major trade shows throughout the year.
Maintain demo equipment, assists with set-up and prepares/tests gear prior to demos
Reports back to the Sales and Marketing Product Management (MPM) groups regarding current industry trends and customer feedback
Maintain above average knowledge base and skill set in the functionality and demonstration of all system features for XPression
Manage and performs high end and critical customer demonstrations on-site, in our demonstration facility and at major tradeshows
Develop XPression demonstration techniques, methods and materials for use by other demo staff


Perform customer training – on-site, off-site and online/remote customer training sessions
Internal training – other Ross staff members
Maintain integrity of the training experience and provides feedback and input re: areas for improvement
Maintain training equipment, assists with set-up and prepares/tests gear prior to training sessions
Help develop XPression customer training methods, materials and techniques working in collaboration with the XPression Product Prime, XPression MPMs, other XPression trainers and customers.

XPression Customer Advocate

Champion customer needs as applies to the XPression customer experience, notably operational features, roll-out and training methods as well as future feature requirements
Liaise with key customers on XPression features
Actively participate in Ross’ user forums and answer operational questions, lead key discussions and assist XPression users in getting the most out of their systems and providing a superior customer experience.

XPression Product Feedback

Provide feedback to the XPression MPM & TPM on XPression operation, features and roadmap
Suggest enhanced features and help to prioritize customer features
Participate in the review process for upcoming software feature lists and provide feedback


Excellent communication and presentation skills
Familiarity with the key components used in broadcast electronics products
Fluent in English with additional languages a bonus (Spanish written and verbal).
In-depth knowledge of graphic design, production, customer needs and applications
Experience using XPression
Fan of sports and new television programs
Post-secondary degree related to television broadcast or appropriate work experience
Experience in the selling and marketing process for broadcast equipment is very useful
Character generator operational experience for live events
Knowledge/experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, Maya/3ds Max, After Effects, Illustrator and/or Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Virtual Set Construction
Experience in the selling and marketing process for broadcast equipment is ideal
Above average computer skills
Knowledge of use of Ross Video products and a willingness to learn how to demonstrate and train on these products, notably: Streamline

Passionate about XPression and graphic design
Strong interpersonal and observational skills
Organized and very detail oriented
Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
Must be able to work under pressure and adapt to changing environments
Self-starter, quick learner and able to work under minimum supervision
Able to work independently or as part of a team


Extensive past experience in training required, minimum 5 years
Minimum 5 years experience in a broadcast/post/corporate video environment


Minimum 75% international travel is required
Must have a valid passport *Please advise if any travel restrictions
Must have a valid driver’s license

Physical Demands:

Requirement to set-up and tear down equipment – involves lifting up to 50 lbs, reaching, bending, stooping, cabling, etc…

Work Environment:

Home based
Various customer locations (broadcast studios, control rooms, educational facilities, houses of worship, sports arenas, tradeshows…)
